About Ealain Draoi
Ealain Draoi Candle Holder Luminaries have been selling our unique luminaries since 1994.
We started with Arts and Crafts shows in New England, and as time went by, we expanded to do shows from Maine to Virginia.
Then we discovered the internet..well, we always knew it was there, as we both date back to BBS days, but we didn't pay much attention to it! We have been delighted to have the opportunity to share our unique luminaries to customers all over the world. We've developed hundreds of new designs to meet the desires of our new customers.
Currently, we have taken a break from Arts and Crafts shows, but spend inordinate amounts of time in front of a flickering screen. We intend to get back to doing shows at some point, as we really enjoyed meeting and talking with our customers. When we do, we'll post our schedule here, as we'd like to meet ALL of our customers some day!
Ealain Draoi is Brenda and Edward Ball, and various employees. Brenda does the artwork, production and writes the website(s). Edward does planning, shipping, paperwork and too many other things to think about!
About our Pet Illuminations Candle Holders
We also create custom luminaries, and some time ago, we had a customer request a luminary for a friend of hers, who had lost a beloved dog. She told us the lovely story of the Rainbow Bridge, and we created our Rainbow Bridge luminaries based on that story.
The rainbow is translucent and handcolored - with a dark silhouette of a dog breed sitting at the center or to the right of the rainbow.
Originally we tried to create a "generic" dog - but it soon became obvious to us that there is NO such thing. All dogs are individuals- and all dog breeds are uniquely different. So we began creating different luminaries for all the different breeds. We do not, as yet, have a representative of ALL of the breeds, but we are continuously working on it!
We have since expanded the Rainbow Bridge line into Cats, Birds, Horses, Ferrets and other pets. Recently we have added our Custom Pet luminaries - we turn a photo into a sketch, we're very excited to be offering a budget priced pet portraits for our customers.
