How we regard this program
We think of this program as an affiliate partner program. We regard our affiliates as partners and will work with to generate sales for both of us. We've researched affiliate programs and have tried to make sure the policies are fair to both of us. We've been in business since 1994, and on the internet since 1999, so we're not going to disappear. We want you to make money on our product, and we're perfectly happy to pay you what you deserve to be paid.
We accept Paypal, Checks, Money Orders, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express through our own merchant account - so we offer customers a wide variety of payment options.
About the product
Our candle luminaries are unique handcrafted beautiful items that are the best candleholders on the market. We're the only ones who make candle holders like this - we developed the process and no one has ever been able to duplicate it. As such, you'll be able to offer a product that is NOT available at the local mall or at Walmart. Also, as we manufacture our own product, we never run out or backorder orders - if we run out, we make more.
Our customers have a very high return buy rate - 65% who buy once return to buy again as gifts - our cookie retention time, a year, is set to insure that YOU get paid for those returning customers.
About tracking
Our tracking is through a third party, Mal's carts. Our testing shows good accurate tracking and real time statistics. A sample of the stats page that you have access to is shown below:

About deep linking / custom links
We want you to deep link, we expect links to individual products - in fact we know our markets and we know that specific products are going to appeal to specialty markets/ websites. As we have over 300 products, we do not yet have banners/buttons for every product, so if you find a product that you want to feature, we'll create a custom link banner/button for it.
Unlike other affiliate programs we do not restrict text links, you are free to use any sales text you find on our website, or create your own custom text link.
We do not allow any changes to our images, but would allow you to create your own image hotlink/image button/banner with our approval.
About keyword lists
We do research on every one of our products for effective keywords, however with over 300 individual products, at this time it's not efficient to have them available online, if you wish to request a product/category keyword list, we will email you the information that we have.
About phone orders and our newsletter
Yes, we have a toll free phone number. We've found that it increases customer trust and facilitates ordering for customers who fear internet buying. We try to steer phone customers back to online ordering whenever possible, because frankly it's the best way for us to track orders. However, the last question we ask phone orders is "where did you find us". If the customer identifies your website, we're happy to manually add in your percentage. As we've said previously, we're happy to pay you.
We have a newsletter that is double opt-in, and is sent out monthly with monthly sales, and new items. Year long cookies help to insure that you get credit for sales from our newsletter, and sale items and new items ARE included in our affiliate program. The only exclusion is any printed cards that we may offer in the future.
About new designs for your market
We are aware that YOU are the person who knows your market best, and we'd like to work with you on new designs / new markets. We can create anything provided it's not based on copyrighted artwork ( no disney etc..).
However, we can't make promises as to turn around time on new designs - affiliate requests have to go behind customer requests for obvious reasons. Honestly - affiliates with a proven sales record will be given preferences for new designs.
We have recently moved into some personalized designs, which we see as ideal for affiliates with Wedding websites, or gift websites.
Non-Profit affiliation program
We see working with Non-profit organizations as our way of being able to contribute to the important work that many organizations do. As such, we give non-profit affiliates 15% of sales. Your stat programs, if you are a resale site, will show your percentage as 15% until it is adjusted. However, only non-profits will recieve 15%.
Non-profits must have a Federal Tax ID number - no exceptions.
